Pastor, Speaker, Author, and Minister of the Gospel

Stan is a pastor, speaker, and author who has dedicated his life to sharing the good news about Jesus in churches, conferences, retreats, and camps across the U.S. and around the world. Known for his passion for teaching and his commitment to spiritual growth, Stan has spent almost five decades serving God’s people through preaching, writing, and leadership. Currently he serves as Minister-at-Large with OneWay Ministries.

A Journey of Faith​

Raised in Georgia as the son of a Methodist preacher, Stan’s early life was steeped in the rhythms of the church. However, it wasn’t until his time at Asbury University that he came into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It was there, too, that he met Katy, his wife of over 45 years. Together, they have raised three children and are now the proud grandparents of 11 grandchildren.

Education and Ministry

Stan’s holds a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary and a Master of Theology degree in Mission and Evangelism from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He also continued graduate studies at the Faculté Libre de Théologie Evangélique in Vaux-sur- Seine, France. He was awarded an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree in 2018 from Wesley Biblical Seminary.

A Life of Service

Stan has served churches in Virginia, Kentucky, and Illinois, and for ten years was a church- planting missionary in the suburbs of Paris, France. From 1994 to 2012, he was the senior pastor of Loudonville Community Church in Albany, NY. In 2013, he joined the Francis Asbury Society in Wilmore, KY, and the following year was appointed president, where he served for six years. In 2022, Stan transitioned to OneWay Ministries, continuing his commitment to spreading the Word through spoken, written, and media formats.

Ministry and Leadership beyond the Pulpit

Stan’s heart for global ministry is evident in the years he spent as the spiritual dean for the Pan-African Academy of Christian Surgeons (PAACS). Currently he serves on the boards of One Mission Society and Sammy Tippit Ministries, organizations committed to advancing the Gospel around the world. Through his work as Minister-at-Large with OneWay Ministries, Stan continues to impact lives through preaching, teaching, writing, and media outreach.
